Helping organizations communicate complex ideas with clarity and authority.
For more than three decades, we have partnered with corporate and life sciences teams to produce brand-compliant publications, presentations, event materials, digital assets, and technical communications that inform, persuade, and perform.
We bring structure to complexity — efficiently and reliably.

MINI CASE STORY 01
ECUR-506 — When complex science needs a visual solution
Our relationship with iECURE began with traditional design assignments and scientific posters. As the work grew more technical, so did our understanding of gene therapy—and our role in helping communicate it.
When iECURE asked us to develop a four-minute explainer video, the challenge went well beyond making complex science look good. We needed to understand the mechanisms well enough to help determine what needed to be shown, what could be simplified and how each idea could be communicated accurately to a broader audience.
Finding a way to get it right
Some concepts became too detailed to resolve through conversation alone. We created worksheets, diagrams and live sketches that allowed the scientific team to respond directly to specific visual questions. Those working documents were not finished art. They were tools for solving the problem.
From there, critical animation sequences were developed frame by frame in Illustrator before moving into After Effects. This gave iECURE an opportunity to review the science while providing our animation partner with a clear visual roadmap and usable production assets.
Solving the unexpected
Late in production, an important new comparison needed to be added after the animation and voiceover were already substantially complete.
Rather than rebuilding the larger video, we identified a 20-second window that could be completely reconceived while preserving the surrounding work. A new side-by-side sequence was developed, reviewed, timed and integrated into the existing production.
It became one of our favorite moments in the finished video.

A relationship that keeps growing
The visual knowledge, illustrations and scientific vocabulary developed during the project did not disappear when the video was completed. They became useful foundations for later iECURE posters, mechanism-of-action graphics, presentations and manuscript communications.
Today, when an assignment is difficult to explain, difficult to visualize or simply requires someone willing to work through the problem, we are increasingly invited into the conversation.
Those are the exact challenges we enjoy.
MINI CASE STORY 02
Johnson & Johnson — Responsive design inside a global brand system
For nearly 20 years, CGC has supported teams across Johnson & Johnson, including Janssen, DePuy Synthes, Ethicon, Innovative Medicine, Supply Chain and MedTech.
The assignments have ranged from executive presentations and internal campaigns to event materials, environmental graphics, digital communications and motion graphics. The format often changed. The expectation did not: understand the need quickly, work within established brand standards and deliver something that was ready to use.
Ready when needed
Many assignments began with a practical communication challenge and a short timeline. Complex presentations needed to be simplified. Leadership meetings needed polished supporting materials. Events required everything from digital graphics to signage and branded collateral.
CGC became a flexible extension of internal teams — available when needed, comfortable working directly with evolving content and able to move from concept through production without adding unnecessary layers.
That responsiveness became especially valuable when circumstances changed quickly. During the shift to remote work, we helped produce leadership communications and video content for employees working across locations.
Creativity within the system
Supporting a global organization requires more than making things look good. Every solution has to work within an established visual system.
When Johnson & Johnson introduced its updated global identity, CGC completed formal brand training and adapted our working systems to the new typography, color palette, iconography and standards. The goal was not simply compliance. It was finding room for thoughtful communication and creative problem solving within the brand.
From two weeks to opening day
When the San Francisco Bay Campus prepared for its grand opening, CGC was asked to develop a 28-page briefing book on an accelerated schedule. The project was completed in approximately two weeks, along with digital graphics supporting communications throughout the campus.
Other assignments have moved well beyond the page. At DePuy Synthes, environmental graphics helped explain operations and capabilities within the facility, while animation supported communication around the Joint Reconstruction business.
Different audiences. Different formats. Different deadlines.
The common requirement was reliability — understand the problem, protect the brand and find a way to get it done.
